All agoggle

Tonight we chose to settle down in front of a hot cathode ray tube. First ‘Bleak House’ (BBC1), followed by ‘The Daily Show with Jon Stewart’ (More4), then ‘Doc Martin’ (ITV1) and currently, I’m half-intently watching ‘Sensitive Skin’ (BBC2). All but the first of these has reasonable comedic content.

In sum, this varied and enjoyable diet, provided a recipe for relaxation! Only now does it dawn how close to saturation we have come.

I caught Doc Martin last night. I enjoy it as it's filmed in one of my favourite parts of the world - Port Isaac, North Cornwall. We caught the first series being filmed a couple of years back, the village was full of TV types, film crews and huge lorries and caravans with all the assorted wardrobe, props and catering people. They completely dominated this picturesque little Cornish fishing village. It made me realise just what the people of Goathland and Holmfirth have had to put up with for all these years !
